Fair Play @ Haverhub
INFO
We’re living through a golden age of innovation in analog gaming. As our lives become increasingly fast, remote and digital, slower tactile experiences that ground us in our bodies, in the full richness of a shared experience of the here and now, are all part of a broader movement: a return to what makes us feel human.
Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned gamer, a toddler or a pensioner, arriving on your own or as part of a group (or anything in-between!)
Fair play is a weekly opportunity to get together with the local community to discover, learn and play tabletop games from a large collection; from classic and ancient through to innovative, modern designer board & card games, we’ve got a diverse range for you to try.
Nessie’s Cafe will be serving hot and cold food, snacks and drinks and the bar is open. Menu will vary weekly. The beer garden will also be open so play outdoors on summer evenings.
"We don’t stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing."
- George Bernard Shaw
"When playing a game, the goal is to win, but it is the goal that is important, not the winning”
- Dr. Reiner Knizia
